Godzilla can fly but never have to fly back

Many may only know Godzilla from American films, but he has a slew of Japanese productions that reveal important details of what he can do.

Godzilla has been a major pop culture icon since his introduction in the 1954 movie. Over the years he has starred in numerous memorable film and television productions, building up a loyal fan base all over the world. With such a rich history and deep knowledge behind this massive creature, there are many details that people don’t know about. For example, although it does not have wings, it has the ability to fly.

godzilla vs. Hedorah from 1971 is a very wild movie. It has some great footage where we see Brutalism take on a trash-eating alien. During one of their encounters, Godzilla uses his atomic breath to blow himself up in the air in what becomes one of the character’s most iconic scenes. It sounds ridiculous and lacks any logic, so it’s understandable that this ability hasn’t become one of the most popular.

At the same time, one could argue that the scene looks so ridiculous just because of the outdated visual effects. So, could it be a good idea for Godzilla to take flight in modern times? Could we see Godzilla fly in the MonsterVerse?

Viewers have seen a lot of Godzilla action lately thanks to the MonsterVerse Legendary pictures. A franchise dedicated to great battles between colossal monsters. During his appearances in this franchise, we saw Godzilla swing his giant tail across skyscrapers to use his atomic breath to destroy his opponents. Unsurprisingly, he hasn’t flown in any of these projects yet, but with modern technology and knowing the filmmakers are always trying to make it bigger in the next installment, who knows what they’re cooking up to surprise us.

There are some theories about the hollow Earth that it has a different gravity than the surface. So if in the new movie titled Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire of Adam Wingard It develops in this place, its chances of flying increase.
