Far left Bayern MunichAlfonso Davis was aware of the match between his under-23 team from Canada against El Salvador in the Olympic preliminaries in Guadalajara.
The match, in which Maple Leaf won 2-0 over Central America, was followed by a major player in the Bavarian team, which won a total of six titles last season.
When there was barely five minutes into the game between Canada and El Salvador, Davis uploaded a picture of the meeting to his Instagram account with the message “Let’s go boys,” which translates into Spanish as “Let’s go guys.”
Currently, Alfonso Davis is 20 years old, which is the age at which he could play for Canada in the Olympic tournament, however, he did not consider the coach of Maple Leaf.
