10 Illustrations for “Protovsky’s Treatise”: How Medicine Was Satiated in the 1950s

The name of the book, if we respect the uppercase and lowercase letters, is: Brutsky’s treatise, Medicine according to oskI and Caesar brutO. Recently published by Ediciones Biblioteca Nacional, this large illustrated volume contains an interesting investigation of Claudio Aguilera, Laura Cilento And Judith Joseol. The authorship of this wonderful satire is Trinity Carlos Warnes – Oski – Cesar Proto. That is to say: an unseen writer, an announced cartoonist, and the titular alter ego they both created.

For the first time, the book brings together two series of installments released in the 1950s: Medisinal Brutoski illustratedAt the request of the Argentine laboratory Dupont, and Vade Mecum Brutoski Medisinae, by the Chilean laboratory Recalcine. This is the second volume of the Papel de kiosk collection, implemented jointly by the Argentine Center for Comics and Comics and the Publications District of the National Library.

This Wednesday at 6:00 pm, he sings at the aforementioned center. Involved Jorge Megid (humorist and pediatrician), Daniel Santoro (Fine artist) , Laura Varsky (Graphic Designer and Co-Director of the Professional Illustration Program at FADU) W Paula Labor (Author, graduate, and professor of literature).
