Yasser Tijdeh announces the premiere of “Tu Ere ‘Bonita'”

Santo Domingo, d. – Dominican singer, songwriter and guitarist Yasser find Announced the release of a new album, the first single “Tu Ere ‘Bonita'” will be released on March 7.

And the artist pointed out, “We are pleased to be able to present new content to the public, which will be accompanied by a music video.”

Before the premiere of his new song, the artist, who lives in New York, USA, will perform on March 4 at the famous Apollo Theater Cafe in Harlem, where he will go on stage with his band.

The artist, who recently performed a notable hit with percussionist Jonathan Gblak Troncoso, commented: “We’re really excited about this show and bringing you a super powerful set so I’ll be waiting for you there too.”

Yasser Tijda has reached out to the Dominican audience due to the quality of his songs, as well as the rhythmic fusion that characterizes him.

He is an artist who has devoted time to investigating Dominican culture and other countries, and has achieved an excellent proposal full of musical color for which he has won acclaim.

In 2019, Yasser Tajdeh released “Kijombo”, his second production, and it is the album through which he received international criticism.

Led by Tejeda, the group consists of drummer Victor Otonel Vargas, percussionist Jonathan Troncoso, and guitarist Kyle Miles.

Yasser Tijdeh, who has successfully established himself on the alternative music circuit in New York City, will return to the country to perform at the Island of Light Festival, which will be held March 11 in San Souci.

In addition to the talented guitarist, Alex Ferreira, Italian Dominican Lindre, urban singer The Change, and Cibao dembowsero named Calacote.

Among the local selections are Santiago duo Martox, singer Nicola, and bands Poolpo, Le Montro and Colao, along with criollo DJ’s Bosteels, Maria Lunares and Ben García, among others.

Bands ALT-J and Frank Moody from the UK, Nicky Nicol from Argentina, French electronic duo Polo & Pan, and English-Japanese techno band DJ Maya Jane Coles, among others, will be performing for the first time in the country.

Tejeda grew up in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, moved to Boston to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and now resides in New York City.

In addition to his passion and research on Dominican folklore, Tejeda has participated in numerous tours with the famous pop star and bachata singer of Dominican descent, Prince Royce, and recently collaborated on the latest record production by his great friend and compatriot Vicente García.
