Scotty announces a high-quality experience in the new Region D of British Columbia

Drill core inspection at Scottie Gold Mine.

Drill hole SR23-286 in the vein recorded 36.3 g/t gold at a depth of 5 metres, including 91.5 g/t at a depth of 1.1 metres.

Scottie Resources has received a new high-grade assay at the Zone D target. Drill hole SR23-286 was drilled into the vein in Zone D, returning 36.3 g/t gold over 5 metres, including 91.5 g/t gold. At 1.1 metres.

The intersection is located approximately 85 meters from the underground works. Drilling hole SR23-304 to drill a vein in Zone D over 3 meters grading 5.90 g/t gold.

“These Area D results support our exploration concept for a major, structurally controlled mineralization corridor that transitions from the Blueberry contact zone southwest toward the historic Scottie gold mine,” said President and CEO Brad Roark.

“The discovery and expansion of the high-grade D Zone is particularly interesting given its location in relation to an existing underground tunnel used by the Scottie Gold Mine for access purposes,” he added.

Area D

Area D was first discovered last year. It is located 1.7 km northeast of the 100% owned Scottie Gold Mine, which has produced gold in the past, and 35 km north of Stuart, British Columbia.

Zone D is also located 200 meters east of the Blueberry contact zone, which last year returned a high grade of 28.2 g/t gold over 4 meters within a 7.5 meter section that returned 8.78 g/t gold.

According to the company, the gold-rich surface expression of Zone D has been known for many years, but gold mineralization has not been drilled to depth until 2022. Drilling over the past two years supports the idea that Zone D is coherently oriented with the series of veins located along the blueberry contact point .

Area D and its sister area C are located approximately halfway between the Blueberry vein and the historic Scottie Mine. Outcrops in both areas cover the access tunnel connecting Portal A to the mine.
