Peru presented 55 PPP projects worth US$15,000 million in Canada

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (ProInversión) of Peru concluded its participation in the Global Forum for Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), called P3 2023, in Toronto (Canada), in which a group of 55 PPP projects presented With a value of approximately US$15,000 million, it will be awarded in the period 2024-2026.

He explained that the P3 2023 Conference, organized by the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP), is one of the most influential conferences in the world, focusing on the growth and improvement of public-private partnerships.

This year brought together leaders and influencers from the public and private sectors as they explored challenges and opportunities, as well as new trends, approaches, lessons learned and adapting to new environments in relation to public-private partnerships.

Closing the gaps

The portfolio of PPP projects in Peru was presented by Renzo Rojas, ProInversión Project Manager, who participated in the forum with the presentation “Peru: Promoting Closing the Infrastructure Gap through PPP”.

The official confirmed that Peru has a portfolio of 55 PPP projects and asset projects, worth approximately US$15,000 million for the period 2024-2026.

In next year's portfolio, projects include Section 4 of the Sierra Longitudinal Highway, the Peripheral Ring Road, the Ancon Industrial Park, the Huancayo-Huancavelica Railway, the Trujillo Wastewater Treatment Plant, the San Juan de Marcona Port Terminal, and electric transmission line projects. , among other things.
