National Engineering Day in the UK highlights a Chilean metro station and names the metro station in its honour

It is celebrated on November 1 National Engineering Day in the United KingdomIt is a day dedicated to recognizing the achievements and contributions of engineers around the world. And this list has that Chilean Barbarita Lara Martinez was recognized.

Beck, an electrical draftsman, revolutionized cartography when he designed a London Underground map, inspired by circuit diagrams, creating a clear, easy-to-understand design that remains in effect to this day.
