How to remove the green dot from WhatsApp

1. The first thing is to update the application to the latest version. This can be checked through Google Play Store and App Store.
   
2. Open WhatsApp.
   
3. Select the chat that has the little green dot, which indicates that that conversation has been marked as unread.
   
4. Enter that conversation.
5. When you open the conversation, the little green dot should automatically disappear, indicating that you've read that message.

To pin a conversation on WhatsApp and keep it always visible at the top of your chat list, follow these simple steps:

• Open the WhatsApp application and go to the home screen where a list of all chats is displayed.
• Find the individual or group chat you want to pin at the top.
• Press and hold the selected chat until a new menu appears at the top of the screen.
• In the menu that appears, you will find different options. Click on the pin icon, which represents the installation procedure.
• By doing this, the selected chat will automatically move to the top of the chat list, and stay there.
• To make sure the chat is installed correctly, a pin icon will appear next to the chat name in the list.
