Whistleblower claims in court Kevin Spacey grabbed him ‘like a cobra’

London, United Kingdom.- A man who claims he was sexually assaulted by actor Kevin Spacey said Wednesday the Hollywood star grabbed him “like a cobra” during his trial in London.

The alleged victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is the third of four men accusing Spacey, 63, of a series of sexual assaults between 2001 and 2013.

The complainant explained that he met the American actor, who won two Oscars for “American Beauty” (1999) and “The Usual Suspects” (1995), at a theater production in London’s West End in 2005.

In a recording of a police interview, released at Southwark Crown Court, south of the English capital, this man said Spacey “smelled of alcohol” and “looked grubby” when he arrived.

“My first impression was that he sounded very arrogant,” he added. “I remember him looking up and down at me and looking at my crotch area,” he insisted, adding that the actor had made harsh comments to him.

“He was very aggressive. I have never heard anyone talk to me like that.”

The complainant claimed Spacey was “like a cobra” and clung to him “so hard it really hurt.”

He added, “I remember standing still and I was pushing his arm and I was dumbfounded and frustrated because somebody was so sleazy.”

The man said that at that time he decided to banish these facts from oblivion. “I put them in a box and got on with my life,” he said, “but this had serious consequences for my life and my business.”
