Utcj student will further her studies in Canada

Ciudad Juarez._ Cynthia Anel Mendoza Arzate, a student at the Technological University of Ciudad Juarez (UTCJ), who holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Innovation and Marketing, will travel to Canada to enhance her academic profile at the University of Regina in Ontario.

The young woman, who received this opportunity, commented that she felt very lucky because she was able to develop her studies abroad, as she said, as it is the result of the effort she devotes to her academic life, and that is why she feels happy to take advantage of this opportunity. This stay is for four months.

Diana Elizabeth Villaseñor Hernandez, responsible for the Department of Internationalization and Languages, reported that Cynthia Anael is a beneficiary of the Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Program for Student Leaders, for which she applied in February with some documents filled out and documents supporting the Department of Internationalization.

Once the requirements were completed, in May he received his first acceptance letter and in June his finances letter. A good academic grade and a certain level of English and documentation were what he needed to make the trip to Canada, where he would take three subjects: Introduction to Business, Introduction to International Studies, and Critical Thinking.

It will be next January 5 when the student leaves for the said residence, with the aim of completing the specialization program in her area, and therefore the subjects she will study seek to enhance the academic profile she studies at UTCJ.

Among his expectations is that once he returns, he will finish his bachelor’s degree at UTCJ and pursue a master’s degree in another country, a goal for which he will look for another study abroad opportunity.

The student said: “Since I entered university, I told my family that my dream is to study in Canada, and that is why they are proud and happy that I was able to achieve this.”

Dean of UTCJ, Carlos Ernesto Ortiz Villegas, congratulated the young woman on this opportunity for academic development and reiterated that she has the support of the educational institution.

At the end of the stay, the young woman will receive a degree of completion awarded by the University of Regina, will be sent her list of studies for the subjects she has studied, and will return to Ciudad Juarez to finish her bachelor’s degree.
