Twenty students will receive on-the-go scholarships to study outside the European Union during the next academic year

TecnoCampus has awarded twenty On The Move scholarships, which will allow students from the three TecnoCampus university schools to remain at universities outside the European Union during the 2021-2022 academic year. Sabadell Consumer Finance General Manager Mikel Costa and TecnoCampus General Manager Josep Lluís Checa awarded scholarships at one of the first face-to-face events since the start of the pandemic.

The On The Move Scholarships are awarded each €1,000, equally funded by Sabadell Consumer Finance, by Banco Sabadell, and the Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme Foundation. This is the seventh edition in which scholarships are awarded On The Move, an initiative that reaffirms the two institutions’ commitment to promoting the international mobility of students of various undergraduate degrees taught at TecnoCampus.

Indeed, the internationalization of the campus is one of the main points of the TecnoCampus 2022 strategic plan, which it has been working on in recent months to maintain and revitalize international student mobility in the context of Covid-19. In this sense, these scholarships will allow students to partially cover accommodation expenses at universities in Canada, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, the United States, Chile, Peru, Brazil and Argentina, and some residences outside the Erasmus Program (Europe).

This year, the following students are the ones who will enjoy the “On the Move” scholarship at the following universities:

– Marcel Marimont Pinol, BA in Computer Engineering for Management and Information Systems. National University (USA).

Roger Corominas Font, BA in Industrial Organization Engineering. University of Piura (Peru).
