They acknowledge the work of travel agencies in positioning brands and destinations »Unite the Caribbean!

In order to recognize the work of travel agents from the United States and Canada in promoting well-known brand hotels, an award ceremony was held in Los Cabos, Mexico.

80 people attended the event, 37 of whom were honored for sending the most visitors and creating the most bills for the hotel chain.

The awards seek to reward the trust and loyalty of all tourism professionals who support the establishment of the brand in the US and Canadian markets.

Agencies participating in the event received a craft award and were also able to enjoy a VIP weekend in Cabo San Lucas courtesy of the hotel company.

The weekend included a private destination tour, fun activities and events full of surprises as well as gifts to appreciate your dedication.

Among those attending the event were employees of the chain’s business development team such as Armin Kaestner, Vice President of Sales, Contracting and Business Development for the US and Canada; Hugo Aguilera, Director of Marketing and Business Development for the United States and Canada; Laura Castellanos, Director of Sales in the Dominican Republic; Yvonne Bauer, Director of Sales, Cabo San Lucas; Oswald Bonet, Los Cabos actor; Karina Oliveira, Ariely Elcivar, Karina Fuentes, Luis Dragon, and Lucero Morales Business Development Directors for the United States and Canada; Sandra Mallet and Valerie Ward, Canada Business Development Directors; Adrian Sonneveld, Group Sales Director and Gabriela Mata, Managing Partner, Marketing.

RIU Awards winners are chosen among the travel agencies with the highest sales during the previous year.
