Netflix is ​​betting on nostalgia once again and has just confirmed the arrival of a new version of “Teletubbies” on its platform. This new production will bring back Tinky Winky, Dipsy, La-Laa, Po, and a new cast of actors.

This remake is directed by Andrew Davenport, co-author of the original series, while the narration will be responsible for Titus Burgess, who is remembered for his participation in “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’s.”

The four main characters will be played by Jeremiah Craig as Tinky Winky, Nick Killington as Dipsy, Rebecca Hyland as La Leia, and Rachel Beinart as Beau. Teletubbies will arrive on Netflix on November 14 as part of a catalog of programs geared toward children.

It should be noted that Teletubbies will not be the only program in the children’s catalog that will hit Netflix, productions such as “Spirit Rangers” and “Princess Power” have also been confirmed. In addition, there will also be new seasons of “Waffles + Mochi” and “Gabi Doll House”.

Teletubbies originated on the BBC in 1997 and was first broadcast in the United States on PBS a year later. It was a 2014 rerun on BBC Children’s Channel CBeebies in the UK and Nick Jr. in the US.
