Brazilian Mira Carvalho, 35, pleaded guilty to the crime of harassment with a serious warning last Tuesday, and was sentenced to 14 weeks in prison at Harrow Court, northwest of London, according to what judicial sources told British media.

The court also imposed a restraining order against the former One Direction singer for 10 years.

Carvalho, who stayed in a backpacker hostel in the Kensington and Chelsea neighborhood in London after traveling to the British capital, will also not be able to attempt to contact Harry Styles directly or indirectly, nor will he be able to enter a specific area in the northwest of the country. city.

The woman sent the artist dozens of handwritten letters at the same time as sending cards she had ordered online to his address.

Of the 8,000 cards, according to the media, some were wedding cards, while two were hand-delivered to Styles' address.

Carvalho's family was not aware that she had traveled to the United Kingdom in December and had been in this country since then.
