Santa Fe Sciences received a record national investment of more than $4,000 million

The National Government, through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, has made investments worth $1 million during its administration to finance and support projects and businesses in key locations in the province of Santa Fe. These are 69 initiatives, with a total amount greater than $4 billion.
Among the selected projects are six large-scale scientific infrastructure works, costing $2,579,712,760 in Santa Fe, Rosario, Rafaela, Máximo Paz and Villa Constitución. Through the Federal Building Science Program, a quantum leap has been made to improve building conditions through the construction of infrastructure to enhance research, connectivity, transportation and scientific popularization activities.
In this sense, the governor of the province, Omar Beiruti, noted that “the scientific and technological sector is strategic for Argentina, and obviously for our province; “We are proud of what having scientists in Santa Fe means to this sector,” the president said.
He stressed: “It is necessary to have this type of policy from the state, with basic and tangible investments; It is a strategic step to keep pace with the science and technology sector and the possibility of “accompanying scientific professions and technology-based companies.”

Within the framework of the “ImpaCT.AR” program, which seeks to promote research and development projects aimed at supporting the state’s public institutions to find solutions to challenges that require scientific knowledge or technological development to solve them and that have a positive impact on the country’s development, 3 projects were funded with a total value of $26,460,465.
In addition, US$135,356,003 has been allocated to 12 projects from different institutions under the “Science and Technology Against Hunger” appeal which aims to promote and enhance the integration of knowledge and technological and social developments related to food access and safe solutions. Water, as well as addressing social and environmental vulnerability, national and local planning of actions included in the national plan “Argentina Against Hunger”. Two research projects in the field of medical cannabis were also completed, amounting to $16 million.
On the other hand, through the call for “Inter-institutional projects on strategic issues” an amount of US$56,042,200 was allocated to four projects in the province of Santa Fe; and US$47,959,992 for two projects approved at General Lagos for Pre-University School Technology Equipment, through exceptional support.
This investment was also allocated to disseminate and disseminate scientific activities, especially for young people. Thus, US$8,649,130 ​​has been allocated to 14 initiatives under the Science and Technology Clubs, in the cities of Alvarez, Pueblo Estre, San Cristobal, Rosario, Santa Fe, Arquito, Rafaela and Avellaneda.
This initiative aims to encourage the active participation of young people in various fields of the scientific and technological system, in cooperation with the National Network of Scientific Clubs, which works to enhance the exchange of knowledge and experiences between club members, and between clubs and the scientific community, and to enhance membership in the national community of clubs and train faculty advisors.
