After a long absence, on April 30, Pioneros del Pueblito finally returned to MFL action in Mexico, with a competitive squad and potential to fight for the championship.
The return was announced in an interview with the Mayor of Corregidora, Roberto Sosa Piccardo, who confirmed that his administration would continue to support this team to promote this sport.
Pioneros will be making another FAM appearance at the Unidad Deportiva El Pueblito, which has been renovated and already has permanent stands, but will also be accompanied by soon-to-be rock bands on Saturday.
Regarding Pioneros’ arrival in Corregidora 4 years ago, the mayor stated that “it was kind of a coincidence because the investors were looking to play in Santa Rosa Jáuregui”, but had seen the stadium project and decided on their municipality.

Pioneros de Querétaro opened the season at the Unidad Deportiva del Pueblito on Saturday, April 30th at 4pm against the Sharks in Cancun.
