Oceania Cruises innovates in entertainment with Broadway shows aboard Vista


Oceania Cruises introduced new entertainment options aboard Vista, the first of two ships in the new Allura Class. In addition to introducing new signature dining offerings, destination-rich itineraries, and luxurious standard accommodations, Oceania Cruises is revamping its Vista entertainment program, starting with three designer offerings for a 2023 launch. “Headliners,” “The Anchor Inn,” and “Into the Night.” are Broadway productions featuring iconic songs by some of the world’s most beloved artists and contemporary dance numbers directed by “Dancing with the Stars” choreographer Brett Stewart.

“With Vista, our first new ship in over a decade, we’ve been working on how to raise the bar higher in all departments,” said Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises. Known for our great design, culinary offerings and intriguing itineraries, it’s time to put this ‘wonderful’ in our lineup of entertainment. This new line is innovative for us, and these three new productions are just the beginning. We are very excited to unveil our new series of upscale entertainment to our guests. Vista will feature three main productions when it opens in May, each with a distinct personality, followed by another later this year. Created by a team dedicated exclusively to each show, a large team of performers, producers and technicians have been involved in bringing Oceania Cruises’ new entertainment to life.

At nightchoreographed by acclaimed professional dancer and “Dancing With the Stars” choreographer Brett Stewart, is a dance-focused show with a blend of dance, style and choreography that aims to evoke the excitement of the Video Music Awards, the charm of “American Idol” and the exuberance of “Dancing with the Stars.” The contemporary elegance of the display is inspired by the essence of Vista itself.

The Anchor Innis a UK-focused song and dance show with a West End twist. Set in the pub of the Anchor Inn, a group of regulars celebrate good times, sporting defeats and romantic triumphs to the sounds of hits from artists such as Dusty Springfield, Rod Stewart, Madness, Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones.

Another educational production, The Music Triangle, which tells the story of the roots of nearly every song, will be released later this year.

The 1,200-passenger Vista will set sail on its maiden voyage on May 13, 2023 from Rome.
