Summer in Córdoba features hundreds of activities to entertain those who come looking for relaxation and fun during their vacation. Under this slogan, the governorate launched the “Science and Technology in Summer” program, the first day of which was this Tuesday at Villa Carlos Paz.

The Centenario Bridge was the chosen place for resident families and tourists to observe the Cordoba sky through telescopes, accompanied by specialists who explained the use of these lenses to contemplate celestial bodies. The meeting was attended by the Provincial Secretary of Science and Technology, Gabriel Raya Tonetti, and the Mayor of Villa Carlos Paz, Esteban Avilés.

In the town park, curious people were able to see the moon and Jupiter with its four visible stars. On this occasion, all dissemination activities were focused on astronomy, as the natural Moon is in its first quarter and can be seen almost completely. This space aims to promote scientific and technological knowledge.

During the months of January and February, this experiment will visit different parts of the province to provide science outreach engagements. The roving and interactive proposal is deployed in public spaces and squares and is subject to weather conditions. On Wednesday, January 31, this proposal will be in the city of Alta Gracia.
