“Friends, Beer and Science” in Cecual with Javier García de Souza

The party will be attended by biologist, actor and dancer Javier García de Souza, who will present his stand-up show “Aquatic Humor: The Comedy (and Tragedy) of Science.” DJ Fabiani, gastronomic proposals, a craft brewery stand and Astronor will also be in attendance.

ABC Meeting is free, but those interested in participating must register in advance through the online form bit.ly/EncuentroABC. The first 40 people to register will get a surprise gift that day.

“From ICCTI, we are taking many initiatives to bring science closer to all people, to make it more accessible and attractive, and to try to awaken new science professions in our province,” said Erica Bentz, ICCTI’s highly qualified Human Resources Area Leader.

He explained, “Every ABC meeting is a space to meet and listen to some of the leading scientists from our country, who are working in the dissemination of science, and an invitation to spend a fun moment connecting with knowledge and knowledge in an entertaining and humorous way.” This activity is aimed at people who are dedicated to scientific research, teachers and students, as well as the general public who want to learn more about these topics.

Bentz added, “This is the third ABC meeting we’ve organized and each event is an opportunity to reflect and see how scientific knowledge is produced, always with a touch of fun.” Regarding the guest at this event, he noted that “Javier García de Souza is visiting us, a doctor of natural sciences, who has extensive experience in public communication of science and implements various programs within the framework of what is the promotion of scientific culture.”

The first ABC meeting took place in November 2022 and was attended by Valeria Edelsztien and Claudio Cormic. The second was in May this year and hosted the scientist and humorist Nadia Schiaramone.
