It is an internal working model, consisting of officials from this Ministry who must, among other tasks, study, review and propose updates to the national policy on gender equality in science, technology, knowledge and innovation and at the same time analyze and propose new actions aimed at strengthening its action plan.

The Undersecretary for Science, Carolina Ginza, highlighted that this ministry has taken upon itself the commitment to mainstreaming a gender perspective in all its actions, and that is why a strong institutional structure has been designed that will last over time. “As a mainstay of this structure, today we launched the Ministry’s Gender, Diversity and Inclusion Agenda.
