Medical students from Mar del Plata will provide health care to the north of the country

Nearly 50 students from Mar del Plata left This Saturday to be part of the second edition of “Health camp”Through which they will help people from rural areas and descendants of indigenous peoples in different provinces of northern Argentina.

Strategic points where health measures will be implemented are in Salta: Tartagal, Santa Victoria Este, Aguaray, Cyclantas, Molinos and Cache; In Chaco, IN Espinillo; In Tucuman, Amaicha del Valle; And in Catamarca Santa Maria.

During the tours, students participate with teachers in house-to-house visits to small communities that do not have access to health systems.

In each place, the first approach is with the health agent who generally lives in the place and is part of the community, most of whom belong to indigenous peoples; He accompanies them on all visits to places.
