Dominican Republic announces new flights with Puerto Rico, Panama, Canada and Portugal

Santo Domingo – Civil Aviation Council The Dominican Republic's JAC announced on Friday the approval of new flights to and from Puerto Rico, Panama, Canada and Portugal.

JAC explained, in a statement, that it had approved a special permit for Orbest Airlines to operate flights on the Lisbon-La Romana route, during the period from June 26 to September 11, 2024, with one flight per week, on Wednesdays. . .

Likewise, another special permit was granted to Copa Airlines to operate cargo flights on the Panama/San Juan/Santo Domingo/Panama route, on 7, 14, 21 and 28 March.

Meanwhile, national carrier Air Century has requested a Punta Cana-Havana route between March 19 and May 31, with a frequency of four flights per week.
