The University of Matanzas once again demonstrated its strengths in science, technology and innovation, by showcasing the products of the Center for Anticorrosives and Surfactants, and the Centers for Advanced and Sustainable Manufacturing and Biotechnology Studies.

Veterinarian Alan Vega Cárdenas, head of the production unit of the Matanzas beekeeping business unit, noted that they display all the products sold at Casa de la Miel and other exportable products of great importance to the country.

Vega Cárdenas said that several businessmen had come forward with proposals for production chains, including some self-employed workers from a cooking company, a food products company and a Cuban bread company.

In its 75 pavilions, the business fair made it possible to establish new alliances in search of productive chains between the various economic actors of the territory, being one of the strengths of the province of Matanzas.

As a culmination of the Economic Representatives Exhibition, the prizes won by the Regional Administration of BANDEC in the Communications category, in the Production and Business Chain, were awarded to the project MSME Taller Bajo Cero, while Ueb Matanzas deserved it in the design of the stand.
