#MarvelPlus: 5 Disney/Marvel Mashup Shows You Didn’t Know You Wanted

Courtesy of Disney.

Twitter is trending with #MarvelPlus–a play on Disney’s new streaming service that was launched just this week, Disney+– and we’ve been gifted with puns galore.

Since Disney bought Fox in 2018, they’ve been slowly pulling Marvel titles from other services, and now your favorite MCU flicks and shows can only be found on Disney-owned Hulu and Disney+. With the superpower of having all the rights to some of the world’s favorite stories, Disney could do SO MANY THINGS. So the nerdy netizens of Twitter have taken it upon themselves to drum up some ideas.

The hashtag was started by Gail Simone, the comic book writer best known for DC’s ‘Birds of Prey’. Simone has worked on hundreds of other titles, for both DC and Marvel, and is a trailblazer in the industry–often speaking out on double standards and female representation in the comic book world that tends to be focused on the male gaze. So, thank you, Gail Simone, for continuing to be awesome.

The tweet that started it all.

Check out some the best mashups below:

5. The Suite Life of Thor and Loki

Or alternatively, Drax and Loki.

Either of these two would be comedic gold, though Thor and Loki have the sibling-thing going for them.

4. Starlord Wars: The X-Force Awakens

The mashup to end all mashups, re: Patton Oswalt’s legendary scene.

3. The Sword & The Bloodstone

2. Camp Ragnarok

The only camp show you’d ever need.

1. Captain Roger’s Neighborhood

This is about as wholesome as it gets.

Which of these #MarvelPlus shows would you watch?
