Students from the UK, France and Canada visit Jaén District Council

Nearly fifty students from the United Kingdom, France and Canada, who are participating in the Language and Cultural Immersion Program at the Center for Advanced Study in Modern Languages ​​(Cealm) of Jaén University, visited the delegation.

They were received by the Vice Employment and Business, Luis Miguel Carmona, who explained to them the system for electing provincial deputies as well as the composition and operation of the provincial institution, as well as the work carried out by this institution.

In this sense, I inform them about the services provided to the municipalities and the citizens of Jaén and about the European programs developed by the Regional Council, such as Erasmus + or Talentium, among others.

During their stay at the Provincial Palace of the Diputación, this group of students was also able to take a guided tour of various rooms, such as the plenary hall or the hall of illustrious persons.

In addition, on this day they will get acquainted with other tourist resources in the capital of Jaén, including the Baños Arab de Jaén Cultural Center, in the heart of the historic center and which is also managed by the Provincial Council.

Likewise, during their stay in Jaén to participate in this CEALM programme, which lasts for five weeks, they will travel to other parts of the province, such as Baños de la Encina or the World Heritage cities of Abeda and Baeza.
