The initiative aims to “be an example to illustrate the national science and technology system to stimulate access to and participation in scientific culture throughout the country,” announced the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MinCyT).
The current context, which is strongly influenced by scientific progress and the inclusion of new technologies in everyday life, “requires collective dialogues on current challenges and debates in science and society,” says the file responsible for Daniel Vilmos.
The Night of Science proposes to different organizations to carry out activities in interactive and interdisciplinary formats, which may include, among others, discussion tables, workshops, samples, virtual reality experiences, film screenings, guided tours and proposals exploring art and science.

National Universities of La Plata (UNLP), José C. Paz (UNPAZ), Graal Sarmiento Universities (UNGS), National Universities of the West (UNO), Universities of San Martín (UNSAM), Universities of Cordoba (UNC) and La Pampa.
