Panama and Canada announced that they had reached an agreement to increase permitted flights between the two countries.
“Civil aviation continues to play a crucial role in uniting nations, as the national government, through the management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Civil Aviation Authority, has been able to expand the capacity of air services provided between Canadian cities and our international airports by 14 weekly frequencies of passenger airlines,” the civil aviation statement noted.
They added that through exclusive shipping services, an open skies system is achieved without restrictions, leading to the exchange of goods and services between the two countries, and strengthening the logistics chain.
This caused a reaction President of Copa Airlines, Pedro Heilbron Who said that after 10 years without action, he described this announcement as an important achievement.
