More than 500 Venezuelan and Colombian companies participated in Fitelven 2023

Minister of Agricultural Production and Lands and Sectoral Vice President of the Economy, Wilmar Castro Sotildo, highlighted the tremendous growth in the number of companies participating in the International Telecommunications Fair of Venezuela (Fitelven) 2023, coming from Colombia, Italy and the United States, Brazil among other countries present at this business roundtable.

“They set a goal of 300 and we exceeded 500, which is the highest number that Venezuela and Colombia have historically achieved in a working meeting in their entire republican history,” Castro Sotildo said during the event held in Poledro de Caracas.

This overall business roundtable is the largest between the two countries, as it includes more than 1,200 bilateral business roundtables between Colombia and Venezuela, with the participation of 530 Colombian businessmen interested in buying, selling and investing in our country, while 410 Venezuelan businessmen wish to sell, export, import and form partnerships with their peers in New Granada.

Fitelven participates in companies, entrepreneurs, public and private bodies, as well as national and international, with countries such as Colombia, Italy, the United States, Brazil and others.

The Bolivarian government has outlined a series of policies to develop telecommunications in Venezuela, including the Connectar 2030 plan.
