Is the new Batman movie premiering on HBO Max? Yes, but… – Experts.com

After spending an entire year with blockbuster movies on the platform and simultaneous releases in theaters (at least in the US), what will happen in 2022? Is the new Batman movie premiering on HBO Max? Yes, but… it will be different than it was in 2021.

This week a new trailer for The Batman was introduced in which we see Batman accompanied by Catwoman, in a seemingly completely unconventional relationship, and with cinematography showing us Batman even darker than we’ve seen so far, in what appears to be part of the DC Comics DNA.

The new installment of The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the central role, while Zoë Kravitz is Catwoman (or Catwoman) and Paul Dano as Riddler.

The two-and-a-half-minute trailer, aptly titled “The Bat and the Cat,” highlights the relationship between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, who don’t always seem to get along. In one scene, Batman comments on the disturbing number of cats Catwoman has in her home, and in the next scene, the duo train in a dimly lit office. The pair bond at the end of the trailer, and they both battle the same villains.

The movie was originally scheduled to be released in theaters on June 21, 2021, then it was shown until October 1, 2021, and now the new date is March 4, 2022 “in theaters only.”

2022 will not be the year when films will be shown for the first time in theaters at the same time HBO Max, so we have to wait.

Is the new Batman movie premiering on HBO Max?

We say yes again. But, we’ll have to wait at least 35 days between it hitting theaters and debuting on the streaming service, so we won’t have the movie online until mid-April 2022.

In the same way, we will have to wait to see how the pandemic develops and whether there is no new delay in the movie’s release in theaters, or there is a new policy change in the face of COVID-19.
