This new tour will start in the GIS facilities located on Isidro López Zertuche Street, a few steps away from the monument to the founder of GIS, which gives its name to this important avenue of the city, to continue its journey south until reaching the company CINSAGIS home business sector. The tour will continue along Aguascalientes Street, passing Venustiano Carranza and then taking Baja California Street, which after meters turns into Jesús Valdez Sanchez Street, and continues along this road to Abasolo Street; There the unit will return along this same route to Ave Chihuahua and its intersection with V. Carranza to continue north of the city to Ave Galerías, where they will travel west to east and vice versa to reach V. Carranza again to pass in front of the GIS corporate offices and back again to the south on Canada Street; Heading south, the route will continue to Avenida La Salle, which runners will take to Isidro López Zerucci Boulevard, and there the route will continue north to the Monument to Don Isidro López Zirucci where they will return a few meters ahead to reach the starting point again.

The next date will be May 14, 2023, and 3,000 runners are expected for this edition, which is a greater number than the 2,649 athletes who participated in the 45th edition held in May 2022.

As part of the company’s 95-year celebrations, on this occasion, the image of the race includes La Fundadora, the first die-cutting machine started by Don Isidro López Zerucci and which was the pillar of what is known today as GIS, which also appears on the shirt of the participating racers.

The competition will include general categories for men and women as well as special categories for athletes from Saltillo, wheelchair participants, relays and GIS collaborators. Prizes for the winners will be cash as well as various gifts and products from Cinsa, a subsidiary of Grupo Industrial Saltillo dedicated to the manufacture of kitchenware.
