The result of two decades of dedication and commitment to the vision of achieving complete authenticity in football, Football Manager 2024 Arrives worldwide on November 6.
The twentieth installment of the popular Sports Interactive™ and SEGA© franchise also represents an important step for the studio and the SEGA family in general, as it marks its official debut in Japan.
The new ability to transfer careers from Football Manager 2023, FM23 Console and FM23 Touch is one of the most notable new features this year. Many of them have a reference in the world of real football, which is constantly evolving, as well as expert insight into new and existing associations within professional sport. In a first for the studio, today’s official announcement trailer concludes with a roadmap showcasing all the key news and reveal dates for our title series. Updates to the game for PC and Mac – including updated set pieces, signings and smarter financing – will be detailed throughout the remainder of September.
Another addition to This year’s FM lineup is Netflix, the exclusive home of Football Manager 2024 Mobile. Whether they’re Football Manager fans or first-time players, Netflix members around the world will now be able to access FM in the same app where they watch their favorite movies and TV shows.
“Having seen FM23 reach an incredible record of six million players last month, I’m proud to confirm the launch of Football Manager 2024 today,” said Miles Jacobson, Sports Interactive Studio Director.
“FM24 is the twentieth game in the Football Manager series and is an ode to the world of football. It is the conclusion of this chapter of our history and the most complete version we have produced to date.
“Having been part of the SEGA family for two decades, the entire team is excited to launch in Japan and include the Japanese language for the first time. This debut, combined with the fact that over 230 million people around the world will now have access to our already popular series on “Mobile through their Netflix memberships means we’re very excited about the potential for our player base to continue to grow.”
Football Manager 2024 console is set to return on Xbox and – after an incredible campaign – on PlayStation 5. FM24 (Xbox) and FM24 (PC, Mac) console will once again be available through Xbox Game Pass. As detailed in our roadmap, the new additions to the FM24 console will be revealed during the week of October 23.
Football Manager 2024 Touch will be available on Nintendo Switch on November 6. There will be more updates to FM24 Touch in the coming weeks and details about new features will be released in early November.
From today until launch, fans who pre-order FM24 (PC and Mac) and an FM24 controller (Xbox and PlayStation 5**) through an authorized SEGA digital retailer will receive a 10% discount.
Those who pre-order on PC and Mac can start their management career ahead of schedule, with early access to FM24. Early Access will be available via Steam and the Epic Games Store approximately two weeks before the official release date, and single-player races started in that period will be able to continue when the game is updated for release on November 6.
