“The Santa Run” Race at CDMX: History, Route and Registration

The most Christmas race is approaching. “The Santa Run” has long tablecloths because this year it celebrates five years of magic running through Mexico.

If you are a fan of Christmas and sports, be sure to participate in this race, as women, men, children and even pets can do it, all dressed as Santa Claus.

Renata and Daniela Yanez, the Mexicans who brought This concept to MexicoThey expect hundreds of people year after year to join this race, which is also held in countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland and Malaysia.

As with previous editions, this edition will include a live Christmas party as well as giveaways.

When, time and where will the Santa Race be?

Hundreds of people dressed as Santa Claus will gather at Parque La Mexicana on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 7:00 AM.

Registration for the race includes:

  • Santa dry suit (coat, pants, belt, hat)
  • Runner number
  • Commemorative medal
  • Post-Christmas event and concert
  • The back of the picture is with Santa Claus and his elves
  • Activations
  • Complimentary breakfast at Fisher Restaurant on race day (chilaquil with protein and coffee)

What is the “Santa Race” route?

All runners must wear a full Santa suit to be able to run through the streets of Santa Fe, on Parque La Mexicana and Avenida Santa Fe. The distances are: 1K walk, 5K and 10K run.

Those wishing to be part of “The Santa Run” can pay their registration fees on the event’s official website, individual pre-sale tickets are priced at P640 and individual registration plus your dog’s registration is P690 in pre-sale.

Registration for the race helps purchase Christmas gifts for the Mexican Association for Aid to Children with Cancer.
