The MRO Expo is expected to generate P150 million in business

Juarez city.- Starting today at 10:00, the MRO Expo has started in Ciudad Juarez, where suppliers and manufacturing companies will seek to do business.

The event will take place until Friday, October 13, at the new Ingetronic Convention Center, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Hector Nunez, director of this new complex, said that it is expected that more than 5,000 people will influence the purchase of maquiladora.

He explained that there will be 343 units and that 47 percent of the exhibitors are local, 39 percent are national and 14 percent are from the United States. In addition, 35% of participants are coming for the first time.

During this event, more than 1,500 networking meetings will be held.

As a product of these companies, P150 million is expected to be generated, he said.

He pointed out that some of the inputs that will be displayed are plastics, heavy machinery and robotics, but the most in demand currently are things related to high technology.

Regarding the place where it will be held, he said that its area is 10,000 square meters, which places it in one of the largest cities in the country, as its area is only 2,000 square meters less than the city of Chihuahua.

The opening is scheduled for 12:00 noon.
