The film adds to the list of recent projects for Sweeney, who just starred in the romantic comedy “Anyone But You” and the horror film “Immacualate,” demonstrating his sheer versatility on the big screen.

“I practiced wrestling and kickboxing between the ages of 12 and 19. I really wanted to get back in the ring, train my body and change it. Christy’s story is not light, it is physically and emotionally demanding (…) but I like to challenge myself.” The actress told Deadline.
