Guadalajara. – Enrique Alfaro, Governor j@alisco, confirmed Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez’s next fight will be in the state on the bicentennial.

Twelve years after his last fight on national soil, Canelo Alvarez will fight again in Mexico eleven years later. This is confirmed by the great Mexican champion, who will face the interim WBO king of Britain, John Ryder, on May 6, at the Jalisco stadium.
Location will be confirmed. Jalisco stadium is the priority but until today they don’t have confirmation from Clubes Unidos.
And “Canelo” Alvarez confirmed this on social networks, that he will fight in Mexico next May.
“I will fight for Jalisco and celebrate the greatness of our land,” said the Mexican boxer.
