Pokémon Go players have criticized the bright colors used by the Chansey evolution after it appeared at a recent Community Day event.

Fans of the Pokemon series have been surprised on many occasions by the choice of bright colors used in the games. Many times Shinee's choices make perfect sense. But others defy belief, especially when they are very similar to the basic form.

It's especially frustrating when a Pokémon's final evolution stage has a bad shiny form. This makes players not want to evolve their Shiny Pokémon for fear that the creature they fought so hard for will turn into something ugly.

When I developed Shiny Chansey, I had to do a double take because I thought I had accidentally developed a normal version“One user wrote.”The difference between regular Blissey and Shiny is practically nothing“.

This whole line is so weird.Another user wrote,Ha'penny has a great shiny. Chancey's vomit turns green. Plessy then appears almost indistinguishable from normal“.

Chansey was first created in 1996, Blissey came in 1999, and Happiny came out later in 2006.said a user in the thread. “I'm not sure who's responsible for the shiny at Game Freak, but they have to make sure that any newer Pokemon have shiny versions that are easily recognizable and are fairly consistent in their color schemes.“.

It's unclear how The Pokemon Company determines the shiny colors of Pokemon, as there appears to be no consistent pattern among the creatures. Even very attractive Pokemon can get a fake Shiny without fans being able to do anything about it.

The Chancey line suffers greatly from this way of thinking, as its development is an unpleasant shade of green, but at least it is visually different. Meanwhile, the look of its shiny evolution is so boring that you'll want to stick Eviolite onto your Chansey Shiny and make sure it never comes off.
