MAZATLÁN._ Canadian tennis player Mark Stoffels won an important victory during the second day of the fourth Amstel Ultra Cup 2021 tennis tournament, which is being held in El Mina.
Major duels were responsible for the tournament on the second day of activities affiliated with this competition, which is being held at the sporting facilities of El Cid Club House.
In the men’s singles category, Mark Stoffels showed his best form behind the net as he overcame Jorge Lesaraga 8-2.
During the match, Stoffels showed great techniques on the field, allowing him to keep Lizárraga’s attack away, which he couldn’t have done much against his opponent’s attack.
Who also added an important win in this category is Jorge Sanchez, because thanks to an excellent match, he won 8-3 in a round against Jose Luis Lara.
Jorge Medrano did the same, as he used powerful and well-placed shots, overwhelmingly defeating Stacey Slater in a range of 8-0.
Ladies start with everything
In the women’s singles C category, Pati Patiño started on the right foot, after defeating Dana Avena 8-5, in a match full of enthusiasm.
As did Ximena Sepúlveda, because in her first encounter in the competition she managed to get the strain and add her first win with a score of 8-3 over Jenny Smith.
