La Nación / Expo Misiones returns with a new concept after a hiatus of 4 years

After four years of hiatus, the Expo Missiones, organized by the Paraguayan Regional Rural Association (ARP), will be reactivated. The exhibition will be held from September 13th to 17th at the Nemesio Vargas de San Ignacio Fairgrounds.including the business sector, the livestock sector, agriculture, services, associations and gastronomy, which are part of the ten districts of the department.

In this session, under the slogan “Production from the Land of Tradition”, the exhibition will seek to have a proposal for interaction. La Nación/Nación Media was also noted by Nicolás Peña, General Coordinator of the event. He announced that business expectations for this year amount to about 3,000 million pounds.

“We want to prove that livestock is one sector, commerce is another, agricultural and gastronomy as well, franchising the entire department and that will be a reinvention of a new concept for the fair,” Peña said.

With regard to livestock activity, On Wednesday the thirteenth, the tasks of accepting and weighing animals will start the next day to judge the different breeds of cows, horses and sheep.. Winter exhibitions are expected to take place on Friday the 14th, and the concerts that will be the highlight of the event are by Agrupación San Salvador, Aye Alfonso, Tradicion Folk, Los Charros, Pedro Muriel, and Dj Diego Martínez.

From Saturday to Sunday, there will be a gastronomy-filled Fiesta de la Tradición Missionera Such as grilled share, lamb on the cross, cabbage, shastaka, batter and desserts, in more than 10 gastronomic stands. Livestock auctions, sheep night, and rural activities such as pony and ram dressage, hide and bale races, and art shows are planned.
