“Integrating philosophy and science to know the world” in Cabrinis

On December 4, the Multi-Service Building of the Municipality of Cabranes will host a lecture entitled “Integrating philosophy and science to know the world”, an initiative framed in the celebration of Science Week 2023 at the University of Oviedo.

The lecture will begin at 6:30 pm and will be delivered by Professor Javier Suarez from the Department of Philosophy. This activity is organized by the university itself in cooperation with the Principality, Scientific Councils and Cabrines City Council. Entry will be free for anyone who wishes to participate until capacity is reached.

The primary goal of Science Week is to disseminate scientific and technological progress and research in general in an attractive and accessible way to society in order to increase its knowledge, culture and scientific interest. Throughout the Asturian territories, activities, workshops, presentations and other initiatives have been taking place in recent days around this week to stimulate curiosity and research, especially among the younger ones.
