Cities where the 2024 Copa America USA will be held

The 2024 Copa América USA will be held in 14 stadiums in thirteen cities, which will host the 32 matches between June 20 and July 14, CONMEBOL reported on Monday.

The opening match will be Argentina’s (A1) first appearance as defending champions and last world champions, against the team assigned to site A4, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, with a capacity of 71,000.
According to the organization of the stadiums and groups, the South American Confederation explained that two groups will play in the west and center of the country, and two groups in the east and center of the country. The competition will shift to the East, with quarterfinal matches being played in the West and Central. While the semi-finals and final will be held in the East.

The group stage matches will be held from June 20 to July 2, the quarter-finals from July 4 to 6, the semi-finals on July 9 and 10, the third place on July 13, and finally the final on July 14. The final match will be held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, which has a capacity of approximately 75,540 people.

This edition of Copa America will feature 10 CONMEBOL teams in addition to six CONCACAF teams. Four of them have already been confirmed (USA, Jamaica, Mexico and Panama) and the remaining two will come from two keys that will be played next March (Canada vs. Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica vs. Honduras).

The groups will be drawn this Thursday with the countries ranked as follows: Argentina (A1), Mexico (B1), USA (C1) and Brazil (D1), Pot 1; Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru (Pot 2); Chile, Panama, Venezuela and Paraguay (Pot 3); Jamaica, Bolivia, CONCACAF 5 and CONCACAF 6 (Pot 4).
