Celta-Elche fan default support

Celta, like other clubs, plays its home matches behind closed doors due to restrictions from the health authorities, but in today’s match in Pallidus against Elche, they do so with the virtual support of 350 fans.

The ‘Selfie Stadium’ initiative, which opened on Friday at Vigo Stadium and designed by the Spanish startup ‘Book Your Stadium’, has allowed heavenly fans to actually move to Balaídos through U TV and scoreboard to encourage players to.

Fans, who were chosen by the lottery, had to send a picture with a message of encouragement before the match. Pictures and received messages appear on the stadium TV screen and on the video scoreboard at various times during the match.

“Selfie Stadium” is one of the many experiences currently available on the “Book Your Stadium” platform, which allows soccer fans to play a match in Sports City for their team, watch a match with a club legend or make video calls with favorite players.

Book Your Stadium is an official partner of 10 LaLiga Santander clubs and will soon announce deals with eight other top-tier clubs. In addition, in the coming months, it plans to expand to France, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom, as well as to transfer its model to other sports such as basketball, tennis or golf.
