Now a farming couple, Rani and Sankalp Parihar, in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, have sowed by mistake and the fruits are surprising.
The small farm they own is of refined and much-needed Japanese mangoes, and Miyazaki Or “sun egg”, a very popular type in Japan, where they pay about $50 per unit.

As they grew, they noticed that they were different from other mango stems they had known. They choose to give them a chance and let them grow. Now, they have no regrets.
When the fruits arrived, they were surprised by their texture and unusual ruby color. It was a type of mango they had never seen before. They investigated and realized that the unusual fruit belonged to a Japanese variety known as Miyazaki, or ‘sun egg’, which is considered a luxury gift in Japan.

These mangoes have an intense red skin due to their delicate texture and extremely sweet taste.
“The pulp is like jelly, the color is impressive, and you can even eat the peel,” Parihar . revealed, who admitted that he preferred to refer to Miyazaki as Damini, as he baptized them in honor of his mother before knowing his real name.
However, the news about the luxurious Japanese fruit spread very quickly and criminals drew attention and stole 14 “sun eggs”.
Now, the gardeners hired private security: four men and six dogs, to protect the two trees and the seven mangoes that had grown so far.
