Brazil and the United States win and confirm favoritism in women’s water polo

SANTIAGO DE CHILE, October 31 (EFE).- Brazil on Tuesday won a resounding 31-2 win over new Chile in its second women’s water polo match at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, in which it wants to challenge itself for the United States. The United States, which also achieved its second victory in the tournament with a score of 29-0 against Puerto Rico, at the Aquatic Center in the National Stadium Park, in the Chilean capital.

For its part, Argentina achieved its first victory in Group A by defeating Mexico in a close match that ended with a score of 8-6.

The Argentines lost in their first confrontation against Canada, one of the other candidates in the competition that won the silver medal in Lima 2019, while the Mexicans fell for the second time, after their first defeat against Cuba.

Canada leads Group A with a perfect record so far with six points after defeating the Cubans 24-3 in the first confrontation today.
