Barbara Riveros tops the list of elite athletes who will be at Ironman Pocon

the Club Deportivo Universidad Católica (CDUC) has confirmed the list of elite athletes who will participate in the next edition of Ironman 70.3 in Pucon, It is called “the most beautiful race in the world.”

The list of the international competition scheduled for Sunday, January 8, 2023, is headed by athletes from Chile (9), followed by Brazil (6) and the United States (4). There will also be participants from Argentina, Mexico, Canada and Spain.

Among the national athletes stand out Barbara Riveros, Macarena Salazar, and Florencia Vasquez.

In the male category, meanwhile, they are Vicente Treuela, Martín Ulloa, Ramon Bustos Zapata, Martín Baeza Muñoz, Nicolás Saez, and Roberto Rivera.

The Subaru Ironman 70.3 from Pucón hopes to bring some together 2200 athletes.

Meanwhile, for the Carozzi Kids Challenge and the Carozzi Promotional Race of the Thursday 5 and Friday 6 January, respectively, the estimated number of participants is approximately 500 for each competition.

In the latest edition of the sporting event, Spain’s Javier Gomez-Noya (03:50:54) and Brazil’s Luisa Baptista (04:17:12) took first place in their respective categories, setting important time marks.
