VanVleet has 27 points; Birds of Prey beat the mortal warriors | Sports

Toronto (AFP) – Fred Vanfleet scored 27 points and made 12 assists, Scotty Barnes scored 21 points and the Toronto Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors 119-100 on Saturday night.

Precious Achiwa scored 17 points and Utah Watanabe added 12 points for Toronto, which wasn’t a bad situation. The Raptors have won five of seven games.

Golden State played without Steph Curry who got a break. Draymond Green, has pain in his right hip; Andre Iguodala, injured right knee. Otto Porter who has a problem with his left foot and Andrew Wiggins who injured his left knee.

The five returned to San Francisco after Friday’s game, a victory in Toronto, so as not to expose themselves to COVID-19 and eventual quarantine in Canada.

Jonathan Kominga scored 26 points and Damion Lee 14 for Golden State, which suffered its first loss in four games. The Warriors reached the commitment of the best record in the NBA (24-5), but lost the last game in a five-way road trip to Eastern Conference teams.

Golden State finished that round with a 3-2 score.
