This is how El Salvador did in the last five matches against Canada

El Salvador and Canada have not met for four years, five years not counting the friendly matches. Since then Canadian football has rapidly grown to a level that today makes it one of the best teams in the region.

The last game between the Salvadorans and the Canadians took place at the BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston and was a friendly match.

Ervin Herrera did not reach a position to the left of Alexander Laren, but behind him and in the far corner came Denis Pineda, who managed to contact the ball and put it near the post where the opposing goalkeeper could not reach it. El Salvador drew 0-0 yesterday against Canada at the Estadio Cuscatlan, and the team barely added a single point in two home games towards the 2018 World Cup in Russia, after losing to Mexico on the first day.
