Recent research by Sport England found that two million fewer women in England exercise regularly than men.
Funded by the country's National Lottery, the 'This Girl Can' campaign aims to close this gap and inspire women to be more physically active.
6000 associations joined
The campaign, run by Sport England, features women of all shapes, sizes and athletic abilities getting sweaty and moving while exercising.
The initiative has seen nearly 6,000 partner organizations sign up to use the campaign to promote local physical activity and help change these numbers and the way women exercise.
