The rulers of Norte Grande will travel to the United States

The rulers of Norte Grande will travel to the United States, as confirmed by Jorge Arguelo, Argentina’s ambassador to that country. So far they have not confirmed Gustavo Valdes’ participation.

In an interview broadcast by El Cronista, Jorge Arguelo, Argentina’s ambassador to the United States since 2020, commented on the relationship with the country with national economic changes.

The official explained that in September they expect President Alberto Fernandez to travel to attend a bilateral meeting with President Joe Biden and participate in the opening of the United Nations General Assembly.

Meanwhile, he announced that they were expecting a group of governors of Norte Grande, a region to which Corrientes belonged, to visit Washington. “At the end of the month, we are going to visit ten governors of Washington, from the Great North, who will come to showcase their exports,” he said.

However, Argüello did not detail who or which provinces they would be. “We will be taking a big tour of business at the Embassy. From sweet citrus fruits from Entre Ríos to lithium from Salta, Jujuy and Catamarca, we will explore all possibilities for trade and investment,” he said.

So far, Gustavo Valdes’ participation in the aforementioned meeting has not been confirmed.

The Norte Grande Argentino area concept was created earlier this year to strengthen the link between the NEA and NOA territories.
