Valladolid, 04 February. (EFE). – The Military Council in Castilla y León has modified the composition of the European Union Fund Coordination Office, including among the members of the Commissioner for Science and Technology, as reported on Thursday during the Cabinet.

The aim of this office is to make the most of the European funds and financial tools available for the economic and social recovery of the group and to respond to the demands of different sectors and groups, by coordinating all departments for the proper management of European funds.

The Board of Directors has already sent to the Government of Spain two documents prepared by the Board of Directors Office to coordinate European Union funds: “Proposal for a library of recovery and resilience projects in Castilla y León” with more than 440 projects in digital and green transformation, with projected spending in excess of 6000 million euros.

On the one hand, I have also sent to the Government of Spain – prior to the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – the document “Recovery and Resilience Initiatives in Castilla y León”, which was also prepared by this European Union Fund Coordination Office.

This document sets out the goals of recovery in Castilla y León: strengthening economic, social and regional cohesion; Enhancing economic and social resilience oriented towards the bio-economy, mitigating the social and economic impact of the crisis and supporting green and digital transitions.

To achieve these goals, the document grouped a total of 71 strategic initiatives into ten components. EFE
