Simone Biles, one of the most awaited participants in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, made her debut Sunday in the Ariake booth with a note of 14,133 and as she came off the mat in the floor exercise, the machine she has not lost a competition since 2013.
In the Japanese capital, Biles is defending the Olympic titles with individual absolute, floor and jumping teams.
The American did four high-difficulty acrobatics, the first with her namesake triple, and in the third bouncing with both feet off the ring, even off the raised platform supporting her. He was punished by three tenths.

He received the note with a serious nod, even more than he showed when entering the gym. It had 14,133 less than the 14,166 of Italy’s Vanessa Ferrari in the morning session.
The Jump, asymmetrical and striped, in that order, will be its next device on this day from its Tokyo premiere.
In the team qualification round, the gymnast from Texas competes alongside Sunisa Lee, Grace McCallum and Jordan Chiles.

And the other Americans, Michaela Skinner and Jed Curry, have a place to compete only for individual medals.
